Charles Sturt University's Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management provides students with a strong foundation in agribusiness and the skills and knowledge required to pursue a career in a variety of agricultural and agribusiness related industries. This degree offers agriculture content in all subjects throughout the three year program. It also provides students with opportunities for industry experience or international practice to expand their knowledge of other cultures and their career opportunities.

Growing demand for graduates
Graduates in agriculture and agribusiness are in high demand with an estimated 700 graduates for 2,000-5,000 jobs a year. Future demand is expected to grow with the world population doubling by 2050 and therefore increasing the demand for food, fibre and agribusiness services (Australian Council of Agricultural Deans).
This degree is delivered through face-to-face teaching at the iconic Muresk Institute. The Institute is an educational community located on a working farm 90 kms east of Perth. Accommodation includes single rooms, swimming pool, sporting and recreational facilities as well as horse agistment and arenas. You will have the opportunity to learn on a real farm and to study with people who will be part of an important network for your career in agriculture.
The Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management is being supported by industries looking to employ graduates from the course. Major banks, such as Westpac and Bankwest, provide graduate program opportunities. This program will give students a strong foundation in agribusiness and the skills and knowledge required to pursue a career in a variety of agricultural industries. Industry Support in provides scholarship opportunities to students enrolled in this course providing support in several forms including course fees and accommodation.
The course runs as two sessions over the calendar year. Subjects will be delivered in blocks of two days over each 12-week session. The timetable will allow the option to study part-time on campus and only attend classes when subjects are timetabled. This will benefit individuals who travel long distances to attend face to face tuition on campus at the Muresk Institute. For further information on University's session dates.
