On Monday 18 April 2011, C.Y. O’Connor Institute celebrated the achievements of seven students graduating with a Certificate II in Community Services with a ceremony at the Memorial Park in Narrogin.

The seven graduating students from Narrogin Senior High School - Sarah Munday, Rachel-Lee Farrell, Bonnie Atkins, Stacey-Lee Hay, Elliot Lander, Toni-Lee Stringer and Marshall Nelson - attended the Institute as part of the TRAINING2work+ program, which is a Vocational Education & Training in School (VETiS) program.
